Brows(e) Our FAQs
The vast majority of clientele report little to no discomfort; however everyone has their own sensitivity levels. Two types of numbing agents are used throughout the entire procedure and techniques used only go into the very first layer of skin, so it is minimally invasive.
Any clients with previous work will need to book a consultation before we can schedule an appointment. At your consultation, Sophia will take a close look at your previous work and your skin to ensure that it is able to be worked on again. From there, you can discuss your desired look and price estimate.
The goal is always to create the most natural looking eyebrows. Color, size and shape are always recommended to be on the lighter, more modest side. Microblading / Shading is not meant to replace a full face of makeup, but simply to enhance your natural beauty and make your morning routine easier.
There is a non-refundable deposit due for every appointment. This deposit will be subtracted from your total on the day of the appointment. If pre-appointment instructions are not carefully followed/consent forms are not completed prior to the appointment, you may forfeit half of your deposit in the event that we must reschedule. We are reasonable about rescheduling, but please give as much notice as possible.
To err on the side of caution, we do not work on individuals who are currently pregnant, nursing, or undergoing chemotherapy.
Your safety and health are our number one concern. We follow the strictest sanitation and safety standards and use only organic, hypo-allergenic pigments containing no fragrances, emollients or other irritants.
On average, most clients come in for a Color Boost once every 2 years. Some are able to go longer if they take extra care of their brows by wearing sunscreen, not over exfoliating, and avoiding retinol products on or near the microbladed eyebrows.
No, we only require a consultation if you need corrective work. For first-timers, we are happy to answer any questions you have via email or telephone; however, if you'd feel best booking a consultation to meet in person, we are always happy to see you!

Be sure to fill out your consent/medical history forms soon after booking your appointment.
Be sure to avoid any blood thinners for 24-48 hours prior to your procedure. This will help prevent sensitivity and lead to better results. Blood thinners include fish oil, vitamin C, vitamin E, ibuprofen, naproxen, caffeine, alcohol, and more.
Avoid excessive sun exposure, facials, lasers, retinol, and botox for at least 2 weeks prior.
Most clients can return to normal daily activities right away. It's essential to follow our aftercare instructions carefully to ensure the best results.
You'll want to limit sun exposure and sweating/swimming as much as possible for 7-10 days following your procedure. You will be washing your brows with a special soap that we provide and using our special healing ointment to aid in the healing process. You may still experience some slight scabbing/flaking or redness. Brows are typically bold for the first few days.
Absolutely no prior experience is needed to begin our Beginner Microblading Course. There is only one requirement prior to attendance: Get your Florida Tattoo Artist License (via a 3-hour online course).
